Location: Hostel, Imatra
Time: 1955 Finland
Weather: raining, 12 ˚C
Feeling: sian…

After class we went back to hostel for lunch. Marcaroni soup with tomatoes, sausages and chicken seasoning. I thought it tasted bland -_- Then we went to City Centre with the goal of creating a bank account. We somewhat lost our way there so we asked these 2 guys who were cycling by. Turns out City Centre was just on our left. It was still raining when we left so our map was all soggy by the time we reached City Centre. The distance to our destination was so long. We walked for like ~30 mins before reaching our destination. Swee Ting thought the distance was like from Khatib to Yio Chu Kang but I think it is from Yishun to AMK. Anyway by the time we reached the bank, it was already 1630 which is the time the bank closes. Wah…why do they have to close so early?! We met up with Tze Yi and Ya Chen as they were there earlier. Since we were already there, we decided to walk around. Let me tell you, the City Centre is so boring and the rain just made it worse. It is like looking at the stretch of stores along AMK. The return to hostel was more fun. We found out more about our Taiwan friends. This is what I found out: Tze Yi is terrible at geography. She got a shock that when I told her that a person in Singapore can take ~2 hrs to drive the entire Singapore. She thought Kuala Lumpur is in Singapore. She got excited when she learnt that Singaporeans travelled frequently to Malaysia and took ~30mins to cross the causeway. She was O.O when she heard it only took 45 mins to go to Bali. Even worse she thought Turkey was in India because one of the guys who came over yesterday was quite dark. We trusted that the Taiwanese girls knew their way back to hostel so we followed them. Who knows they walk and walk and walk until we reached a dead end. Unable to do anything, we walked into some stranger’s backyard and into the forest. We bravely tackled the horrible branches and stones and weird stuff to break our way through. Halfway back, we realized that smoke was coming out of our mouths. SO COOL!!

We promise to abide by Espall's #1 rule
